Chandelier
Tamás Grünberger, preserving the family tradition and following his father’s profession, ran a chandelier-making workshop in Nagymező Street, Budapest. Unfortunately, as a rare master chandelier maker and bronze worker, he designed chandeliers from different eras and designed and made similar, period-accurate designs, as well as repaired and replaced smaller lamps. Tamás Grünberger was appointed a non-academic public body member of the Department of Applied Arts and Design by the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
Currently, his son, Tamás Gábor Grünberger, runs the company (also in Nagymező Street), as a 4th generation chandelier master.
